Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

Welcome to the website of Roto-Rooter Drain Service (operated by Arod Enterprises LLC, hereinafter referred to as "Company," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of our website located at http://rotorooteror.com (the "Site"), as well as any residential or commercial drain, trenchless, piping, excavation, or septic plumbing services provided by our team.

By accessing the Site or scheduling an appointment for service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or request our services.

1. Scope of Services

Roto-Rooter Drain Service provides expert residential and commercial plumbing mitigation, drain cleaning, trenchless sewer replacement (pipe bursting), sewer camera inspections, pipe replacement, septic tank inspections, and sewer line excavation.

Our professional services are dispatched across an interstate service region encompassing the following localized jurisdictions:

  • Oregon (OR): Wasco County (The Dalles, Mosier, Wamic, Tygh Valley), Hood River County (Hood River, Cascade Locks, Parkdale), Gilliam County (Arlington), Sherman County (Moro, Wasco).
  • Washington (WA): Klickitat County (Goldendale, White Salmon, Bingen, Lyle, Dallesport, Klickitat, B Z Corner), Skamania County (Stevenson, Carson, North Bonneville).

2. Appointment Booking & Right of Entry

  • Authorizations: By scheduling an online appointment or telephone dispatch, you certify that you are the lawful owner of the property or have obtained explicit legal authorization from the property owner to commission mechanical work on the drainage or sewer infrastructure.
  • Site Access: You grant our technicians full and unhindered access to your physical property, including easements, crawlspaces, basement drainage basins, septic cleanouts, and lateral sewer corridors. Failure to provide a clear, safe, and unobstructed work zone may result in service delays and specialized equipment redeployment fees.

3. Payment Terms, Billing, & Special Promotions

  • Payment Due Date: All commercial and residential accounts are due upon completion of the physical plumbing or mechanical services, unless an authorized corporate credit line is established in writing prior to deployment.
  • Military Discount: As a veteran-owned business, we proudly offer a 10% military discount. This discount applies to standard operational retail pricing and must be requested or selected at the time of service scheduling. It cannot be combined with separate third-party insurance claims or institutional commercial contract rates unless approved by management.
  • Late Fees and Collections: Past-due invoices are subject to an interest charge of 1.5% per month (18% per annum) or the maximum legal limit allowable under Oregon Revised Statutes (ORS) Chapter 82 and Revised Code of Washington (RCW) Title 19, whichever is less, plus all collections costs and attorney fees.

4. Limitation of Mechanical & Digital Liability

  • Website Content: The contents of this Site are provided "as-is" for informational routing purposes. We make no guarantees regarding continuous uptime, server errors, or digital booking system cross-compatibility.
  • Subsurface Structural Anomalies: Plumbing infrastructures, particularly aged lateral sewer pipes or failing septic lines, carry an inherent risk of structural collapse during mechanical snake cleaning or high-pressure hydro-flushing. The Company is not responsible for pre-existing systemic wear, collapsed clay/Orangeburg tiles, offset joints, or root intrusions that fail or disintegrate under standard mechanical operating pressures.
  • Third-Party Digital Interactions: Links to mapping platforms or payment processors are managed outside our immediate technical control; users engage with third-party extensions at their own financial risk.

5. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions shall be construed and governed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action, dispute, or claim arising out of your use of the website or our physical field services shall be handled through binding arbitration or filed strictly within the exclusive jurisdiction of the state courts located in Wasco County, Oregon (for Oregon properties) or Klickitat County, Washington (for Washington properties, as dictated by physical property nexus).
